چکیده
Face recognition is one of the most researched subjects in computer vision. The attention it receives due to complexity problem. models have deal with a wide variety intraclass variations such as pose variations, facial expressions, effect aging, and natural occlusion different illumination. This challenge often referred pose-illumination-expression. Our brain performs face efficiently because we process holistically. Since achieving human-level accuracy ultimate goal, should ascertain whether computational model mimicking this approach would better tackle In research, developed learning that closely mimics way human visual cortex recognition. It decomposes task into two specialized sub-tasks. A generator holistic step, followed by classifier for together "holistic model." To problem, introduced use calculated distance features known configural information, which correlate frontal profile face. We compared against baseline current state-of-the-art (or classical models). experimental results show outperforming Multi-PIE dataset, 2.14% performed expected Labeled Wild dataset. ability recognize any orientation high will tremendous impact on biometric authentication liveness detection.

Frontal View Human Face Detection and Recognition
This paper is about an attempt to unravel the classical problem of automated human face recognition. A near realtime, fully automated computer vision system was developed to detect and recognise expressionless, frontalview human faces in static images. In the implemented system, automated face detection was achieved using a deformable template algorithm based on image invariants. The natural sy...
متن کاملEigenbands fusion for frontal face recognition
Face recognition is an important area of research with many applications, including biometric security and searching face databases. This article describes an approach to recognize faces using eigenbands, which aim to capture the best features from facial characteristics. Faces are divided in vertical and horizontal hands. From each hand is extracted features using standard-PCA. Results show th...
متن کاملGeneral Pose Face Recognition Using Frontal Face Model
We present a face recognition system able to identify people from a single non-frontal image in an arbitrary pose. The key component of the system is a novel pose correction technique based on Active Appearance Models (AAMs), which is used to remap probe images into a frontal pose similar to that of gallery images. The method generalises previous pose correction algorithms based on AAMs to mult...
متن کاملAutomatic Frontal Face Reconstruction Approach for Pose Invariant Face Recognition
Handling pose variations for face recognition system is a challenging task. The recognition rate is drastically decreasing with the images captured in uncontrolled environment having pose variations in yaw, pitch and roll angles. When the face image with frontal pose it is proved that the recognition system performs well. In this research an attempt is made to reconstruct frontal pose face imag...
متن کاملMirror self-recognition beyond the face.
Three studies (N=144) investigated how toddlers aged 18 and 24 months pass the surprise-mark test of self-recognition. In Study 1, toddlers were surreptitiously marked in successive conditions on their legs and faces with stickers visible only in a mirror. Rates of sticker touching did not differ significantly between conditions. In Study 2, toddlers failed to touch a sticker on their legs that...
